Red
Darkness does not terrify me anymore
I see myself in the mirror at night
and the depiction no longer seems strange
Who would have said that at daytime now
the sorrows are more scandalous to me
in the dark I no longer hurt nor blame myself
I adore myself like a satanic selfish cat
Instead
among lights
I feel surrounded by pigeons with wood beaks
with cowardly attempts at being knives
Oh, dear and desired masked victim
I do not hurt nor kill by firing my gun at nothing
I am just red among the colorblind.
Aun sin contratos
Yo no cojo y me doy la vuelta
Al coger yo quiero verte
sentirte
y después
hablar
Hablamos
de lo que sentimos y queremos
Pero vos te vas y yo me voy
ambas nos vamos
aunque vos te quedes
y aun así
seguimos juntas
porque nos sentimos
no solo cogimos
Nos conocimos
en cada beso
cada caricia
cada jadeo
y en cada lengüeteo
No solo cogimos
Nos amamos
Aun sin contratos
Nos amamos
No amigamos.
Even without Contracts
I do not fuck and turn around
While fucking I want to see you
feel you
and afterwards
talk
about your lovers and my lovers
about what you need and I need
about what I hate and you hate
and about that which we both hate together
and which reinforces our compatibility
I do not fuck and turn around
and leave with your milk that makes me young
nor do you leave with my milk that makes you wise
We talk
about what we feel and want
But you leave and I leave
we both leave
even if you stay
and even so
we are still together
because we felt each other
not only fucked
We met
in every kiss
every caress
every pant
and every lick
We did not just fuck
We loved each other
Even without contracts
We were lovers
Not just friends.
no aquí
a mi vida
a mi cuerpo negro
feminizado
empobrecido
Walking around here…
I walk slowly with fear on my back
and mid-chest rage as I yearn to scream
but I keep quiet because I do not want to get killed
not here
not like this nor now
The police have always wanted to kill me
to kill her/them/him whom I love
they have wanted to rape my body
to shoot me and to fire teargas right at my face
at my life
at my black
feminized
impoverished
nonbinary dyke body
Walking around here
some of those so-called jailux cars pass by
with no license plates
as if they were ghost cars
but here we know that just like the patrol cars
the fucking police and the jailux cars with no license plates
have been our enemies
much before they came into this neighborhood.
I
Habito acantilados adictos a despedidas imaginarias
me siento ahogada
me siento falsa
me siento
y me detengo
a veces
A November Sunday
I
I inhabit cliffs that are addicted to imaginary goodbyes
and to crack-flavored kisses
I blabber out a cyclical cry in the loins
I inhabit an abyss that flickers in the dirtiest corners of my body
Every Sunday I try chasing the demons away
to untangle my hair and wet even my underskirts
I vomit melancholy in the shape of a song
and howl under the dining table begging time to stop a little
But it is useless
it is Sunday and every Sunday life blooms and withers in my hands.
II
Sometimes when I feel my lips are fear-delicate
I curl up to be able to stop breathing.
I feel on the edge
I feel suffocated
I feel fake
I feel
It has been over a thousand days since I have not written something I like
when I am about to do it
my chest constricts
distant galaxies get stuck in me
my soul trembles
and I stop
I am panicked to do things right
I break my legs as a routine
and end up swallowing everything I vomit
EVERYTHING
The thing is that sometimes I feel like I have a hook in my throat
and I cry
I cry so much it bores me
For a thousand days I have been stagnant
for a thousand days my eyes have choked me
I would like to scream
and decompose with that scream
disappear in one shithousandth of a second
revive and start over again
I want to keep screaming
until I tear my throat apart
A long time ago I decided to drag a chimera of unconformities
I am always about to suck the barrel and disappear in the middle of so much shit.
III
My body is a rotting metaphor
It is a time capsule that gets destructed every five sighs
and it is sometimes seeped in lukewarm coffee
My body is a chimera
with depressive nouns
My body lives in an uncertain past
sometimes
it explodes into thousands of shards
but it always goes back to its ephemeral form
My body carries a bunch of hydrangeas in the throat
to drown in the seasoned memories of some November.

siempre atento a no caer
veremos partir nuestros hermanos
y trataremos de sobrevivir
sin ellos en invierno.
What Do the Departed Leave behind?
Maybe blocks of cement
that piled up form a home
The muddy courtyard was more than a playground
The tree in the corner that they saw grow and
is a fresh shade today
The departed
leave behind some dreams to carry others
They had to improvise on the difficult way
as if they were juggling life
as if they were walking on the tightrope
always careful not to fall
The migrants
leave behind children that will soon be adults
They will see them grow through the screen
and their blood bond will be a bank account
Some leave behind their navels
planted in their grandmother’s yard
under the shade of a good tree
Others
escape from the terror of their own homes
from the wolf that sits at the table every day
and forces them to pray
What is left behind by the departed:
by those who do not want to go
but do not have a choice?
They leave encapsuled kisses
under the promise of returning
in a few years and
resuming life
right where they left it off
as if telling a fairy tale
as if begging cupid for eternal love
What do the departed leave behind?
A handful of stones called heart
tears bottled up in clay jars
and an old sticker of the saint
who never heard their prayers
The route is outlined:
we will watch our siblings go
and we will try to survive
without them in the winter.
